Overview

Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) which is sits in south-west Kenya, is a  worldwide for wildebeest migration venue. The reknown national reserve is one of  Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems. Moreover it is also possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing national reserve. The wildebeest migration  is just of out this world.  The best time to be in Kenya and visit the Masai Mara is July – October.

The big five animals are in plenty in this eco system in plenty.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Nairobi – Masai Mara

Masai Mara Aberdare national park safaris starts in Nairobi after breakfast and travel through the Great Rift Valley. On the way there will be stop over at the view point to not only have a good view of the magnificent floor of the Rift valley but also take memorable photos. Get to Masai Mara early in the afternoon for lunch and then game drives. Dinner and overnight here.

 

Day  2 Masai Mara Full Day

After breakfast leave the camp and proceed for the whole day game drive, you will have your picnic lunch with you on this day since you will also cover the Mara River. This is one of the famous rivers where the Wildebeest Migration takes place every year. Meals and overnight the back at the camp. In the late afternoon an option tour visit to the Masai cultural village can be done. (At an extra $20 on the price since its optional).

 

Day 3 Mara then Nakuru

Early morning game drive as from 0630hrs-0930hrs, this game drive is very important as you will have an opportunity to capture early morning kills from the big five. After breakfast proceed to Nakuru with stop over at the rift valley view point for a fantastic view of this wonderfully made floor of the Rift valley arriving in Nakuru early afternoon. Lake Nakuru is often referred to as the Pink Lake due to its Great masses of Flamingos. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4 Lake Nakuru- Aberdare

Enroute you will have a stopover at the Thomson’s fall and have the great moment as you approach the central part of Kenya. Later, you will check into your lodge. The afternoon is at leisure.

 

Day  5 Aberdare – Nairobi

After early breakfast, do a game drive in through the Aberdare national park. Later, embark on a journey back to Nairobi after lunch arriving in late the afternoon or early evening. Dinner and overnight in Nairobi. From Aberdare ranges you can see the Mt. Kenya from far.

 

Day 6 Nairobi City tour excursion for the whole day.

This will involve visit to Giraffe Centre, David Shedrick elephant orphanage, Karen Blixen and Mamba village. Some time to be given for shopping.

 

Day 7 Nairobi

Leisure time depending upon timings of the flight. Depart for Nairobi Airport to take a flight back home with sweet memories of Kenya Visit.
