Overview

What you will do:

Day 1

LIVINGSTONE (START)

Sunset cruise on zambezi Pick-up from the airport in Livingstone and transfer to our lodge in the outskirts of town. In the late afternoon a visit to the Victoria Falls (optional, U$ 20 pp entrance fee).

Overnight stay at Fawlty tower Lodge.

Accommodation: Room

Day 2

LIVINGSTONE (Falls Day)

After breakfast pick up for a guided Victoria falls tour. After we head back to livingstone city for lunch break. Afternoon is free for a city tour or curio market.

Day 3

NGONYE FALLS

Pick-up from your lodge and early morning drive to Mosi oa Tunya National Park where we do a game walk with a ranger to see the rhinos. Afterwards we drive on along the course of the Zambezi river up to the beautiful Ngonye Falls.

Day 4 to day 7

LIUWA N.P

Liuwa N.P In the morning we go on a guided tour of the falls. Afterwards we drive to Mongu and cross the Barotse flood plains to the Liuwa Plains National Park. A panorama view of the flood plains and the local villages. The barotse flood plains are also famous for the rice fields. The park is famous for the wildebeest migration which starts October – November, zebras, buffalos, cheetahs, hyenas, wildogs and vasty bird life.

Day 8

MONGU

Mongu is the capital of Western Province in Zambia and was the capital of the formerly-named province and historic state of Barotseland. Its population is 179,585, and it is also the headquarters of Mongu District.

Activity: Cultural Village tour, Sunset watch over the plains.

Day 9 to 10

KAFUE N.P

Kafue N.P Kafue National Park covers a massive area in western Zambia. It’s known for its abundant wildlife and the Kafue River, running north to south through the park. In the north, the fertile Busanga Plains are home to lions, zebras, abundant birdlife and the sycamore fig trees of Busanga Swamps. In the more remote south, elephants and antelopes roam the Nanzhila Plains, and hippos swim in the waters of Lake Itezhi-Tezhi.

Day 11

LUSAKA

After breakfast we transfer to Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. Drop of at the place of accommodation (optional)

Day 12

LUSAKA (END)

After breakfast transfer to the Lusaka International Airport
