Overview

This tour will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a variety of different species of mammals and birds and the famous Kazinga channel for boat cruising. Queen Elizabeth National Park is definitely among the world’s most bio diversified wildlife sanctuary featuring Leopards, Chimpanzees, Hippos, African Elephants and Cape Buffaloes not forgetting the beautiful lunch cruise along Kazinga channel will make your safari memorable! You will go for chimp tracking in kalinzu forest.

 

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP with Evening view game drive

Breakfast for day one will be provided at the Hotel or your place of residence, followed by a meet, greet, and briefing on the 3 days Queen Elizabeth Tour by our driver at 7:00 am. You will then begin the 5-6 hours’ journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Towns of Masaka, Mbarara, & others. There will be a number of stopovers including at the Uganda Equator along Masaka road where you will be able to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and also experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres, take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs.

After your meals, proceed with the journey and as you approach Bushenyi, you will be welcomed by the coolest air ever experienced in Uganda as well as the lush tea plantations on the hilly slopes of Igara and Ishaka, through the Kalinzu Forest Reserve until Queen Elizabeth National Park. Head straight to lodge, relax as you wait for the evening game drive.

Day 2: Amazing morning game drive and a boat cruise along Kazinga channel with crater lakes

Start the day with an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 members Elephants, Buffaloes, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas are spotted along with the Circuits as we drive along the and many more species that are residents to this park. There is a rich birdlife especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi. After lunch, we get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George - lake Edward. Here you see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning, the National Geographical society Killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the Banks and Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba are a hallmark sign in this Animal home. With your Binoculars along the peninsula, you have a magnificent view of Birds, animals like the ever playing African Elephants in Waters.

Day 3: Chimp trekking in kalinzu forest & transfer back to Entebbe

This morning you go chimps trekking in Kalinzu forest. Enjoy the walk through the forest and the fascinating meeting with the chimpanzees. After the trek embarks on the drive back to Kampala with a stopover at equator and lunch in Masaka. Drive back through to Kampala as we have reached the end of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari tour in Uganda. Arrive Kampala or Entebbe in the evening. PAYMENT At the time of booking, you must confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions and pay a deposit of 50% of the price of your holiday including fees for gorilla permits. If written acceptance is not received from you, we shall assume acceptance of the Terms and Conditions once you make the deposit. The balance must be paid in full before the start of the safari. It could be paid before coming or just before the start of the holiday. We however reserve the right to request full payment at least 30 days before the start of the holiday.
