HIGHLIGHTS:

• Discover the vast plains of the upper Namib Naukluft Park
• Search for wildlife and visit waterholes
• Sightings may include: giraffe, zebra, oryx, wildebeest, ostrich, springbuck, cheetah.
• Visit spectacular rock formations

This mini safari will take you away from the coast, travelling east, into the vast plains of the Namib Naukluft Park.

Once you start to move awai from town, wildlife sighting are possible, however the further east we travel, the closer we get to waterholes where these animals go to drink.

Half of the day is spent searching for wildlife and stopping for photos, the second part of the day will be exploreing the mountainous area surrounding the plains. The scenery is spectacular and you will find it very difficult to switch your camera off!

Please note that the best time to find wildlife in this area is from May to November. These are wild, migrating animals and we are never sure to see them.
