ITINERARY

Day 1:

ANTANANARIVO

Arrival at the Ivato international. Meet with our guide-driver and transfer to hotel.
Bed & Breakfast at PANORAMA

Day 2:

ANTANANARIVO

Departure for the sightseeing tour around Antananarivo including the visit of the queen summer palace in AMBOHIMANGA, heritage of UNESCO.
Lunch at the restaurant RELAIS DU ROVA
Half board accommodation at PANORAMA

Day 3:

ANTANANARIVO / DIEGO SUAREZ

Transfer to the airport, flight to DIEGO SUAREZ.Arrival in DIEGO SUAREZ, meeting at the airport and drive to Ramena. Excursion2 BAYS: Bay of Sakalava and Bay of Ramena via Montagne des Français,which make the reputation of the area. Stop at the Bay of Ramena to enjoy a splendid sunset.Half board accommodation at SUAREZ HOTEL*

Day 4:

DIEGO SUAREZ / MONTAGNE D’AMBRE / JOFFRE VILLE

Departure by 4WD car to the reserve of Montagne d’Ambre.
An impressive visit to the mountain of “Ambre”, the national park of the North, 32 KM. The massive has a humid, tropical and microclimate. As in many parts of the island, the flora is very rich: big endemic trees, epiphyte plants, and medicinal plants. And the fauna is typical of humid forest: many species of diurnal and nocturnal Lemurs, butterflies, invertebrates, birds... Also, you’ll be fascinated by the cascades, the Antankarana’s ritual objects.

Day 5:

JOFFRE VILLE / ANKARANA EST

Continuation to Ankarana. Visit of the TSINGY ROUGE (red tsingy) and the ANKARANA RESERVE
The red Tsingy are a rock formation due to the erosion by the rain and the wind of a laterite soil. The result is a surprising maze of red rocks unique in Madagascar.

Visit of the reserve.
The Ankarana is a 35km long karstic massif made of Tsingy. Canyons, forests, caves and underground rivers crisscross this National Park which is also the home of an endemic flora and fauna. On the way there, make stops along the famous RN6 to better appreciate the sceneries before diving into the heart of the Antakarana culture.

Day 6:

ANKARANA EST / ANKIFY
Continuation of the visit at Ankarana reserve.

After visit, transfer to Ankify, leaving the track. We pass through the Sambirano and its aromatic plantations of vetiver, palma rosa , cocoa.

Day 7:

ANKIFY / NOSY BE

Departure by boat to the islands. Nosy Komba, the lemurs’ island and NosyTanikely, the marine reserve. Visit of the fishermen village and the reserve oflemurs macacos. Running free, they come to fetch the bananas in your hand.Continuation towards Nosy Tanikely, small island 40 mn of Nosy Komba,underwater national park, protected since years, the sea deeps offer the astonishing spectacle of the multicolored life of the coral reef a few meters of the surface.Actually you do not need to dive to observe the multitude of colored fish which evolve without fear in front of your mask. Panoramic sight in height.Pic nic lunch.Transfer by boat to Nosy Be after the excursion. Known because of the culture of its famous perfumed plant: Ylang Ylang, but also because of its beautiful fine sand beaches, its coconuts, its very full of fish blue lagoons, its paradisiacal small islands. Nosy Be on the North west coast is covered with hills and valleys from where fruits and flowers flavor are given off. Day 8 and Day 9:

Day 10:

NOSY BE / ANTANANARIVO  Free lunch.Transfer to airport according to the flight schedule to Antananarivo.Arrival in Antananarivo, transfer to ORCHID HOTEL, (5 mn from the airport) for a day use (late check out).Dinner at the hotel and, transfer to airport for the return flight
