8 / Days Nature tour itinerary for Masai Mara, Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro Conservation Area: Let Your Luxurious Migration Safaris Begin!

Come for East African Adventures to 3 national parks! You will see the Annual Migration at the Serengeti plains of Tanzania and the Mara Reserve in Kenya. Traverse these areas and the Crater Highlands and see rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants, geese, storks, vultures and lots more!

What you will do:

Day 1

Arrival into Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and after all immigration formalities are done, you will be met and greet by a Dodo staff and transfer to the City for your stay at Acacia hotel or equivalent booked on bed & breakfast basis (B B).

Day 2

Nairobi – Masai mara national reserve

At 08:00 hrs after breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago.

Arrive for lunch at your lodge.

Go for an afternoon game drive until sunset.

Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Equivalent booked on full board basis, F B.

Day 3

Full day in Masai Mara reserve

{Early morning optional balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast.}

At 06:00 hrs, depart for early morning game drives in Mara Reserve.

At 08:00 hrs, return to the lodge for breakfast.

Thereafter you have the whole day in Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve to look for lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and many other animals.

All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or equivalent booked on a full board basis, F B.

Day 4

Masai Mara in Kenya – Serengeti national park in Tanzania

Just from Masai Mara, arrive at Isebania at around 09:30 hrs. This place is the border of Kenya and Tanzania.

Meet with your Tanzanian guide/driver with an excellent 4 x 4 vehicle which is rebuilt for a safari to give you a comfortable game viewing.Drive to Serengeti doing shallow game drives with picnic lunch on the way.
Arrive at the lodge at around 16:00 hrs, and check-in at Serengeti Wildlife lodge.Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge waiting for dinner and overnight.Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildlife lodge or equivalent booked on full board basis, F B.

Day 5

Full day game drives in Serengeti national park

Have breakfast at your lodge followed by both morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti park. This will also include a visit to the Seronera information center, the center of the Serengeti park.

All meals and overnight at Serengeti Wildlife lodge or equivalent booked on full board basis, F B.

Day 6

Serengeti – Ngorongoro conservation

After breakfast, at 08:30 hrs, check out from the Serengeti Serena lodge and travel towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area while spotting game animals en route.

Check-in and have lunch at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

At 15:00 take a break, stay in the vehicle and launch a walking trip for about 3 km on one side of the Crater rim enjoying the scenery of the Ngorongoro highlands or else choose to relax at leisure in your lodge.

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or equivalent, booked on full board basis, F B.

Day 7

Ngorongoro crater tour

Wake up at 06:00 hrs for early breakfast.

Thereafter, descend into the crater floor with picnic lunches for a full day game drives.

Your lunch will be served on the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitokitok swamp a Hippo pool.

After lunch, proceed with game viewing and late at 16:00 hrs, ascend the crater for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or equivalent, booked on full board basis, F B.

Day 8

Ngorongoro – Arusha city – Nairobi for departure flight

After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch.

At 14:00 hrs, transfer to the Namanga border of Tanzania and Kenya.

Continue to Nairobi for a drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. End of Tour.
