This is the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar, little changed in the last 200 years ago. It is the place of Bazaars mosque and grand Arab house with their curved wooden doors. The tour takes you through fabled stone town where the history appears stand still with visit to old market, the house of wonders, the palace museums, Dr. Livingstone’s house, the slave market and the Arab fort (Ngome Kongwe). Prison Island also known as Changuu Island or Quarantine Island. This is a small island 5.6Km North West of stone town. The island is around 800m long and 230m wide at its broadest point. The island used as prison for rebellious slaves in 1860s and also function as coral mine. The island named as quarantine because of the yellow fever cases. More recently, the island has become a government owned tourist resort and houses a collection of endangered Aldabra giant tortoises which were originally a gift from the British governor of Seychelles. Also the guests can do snorkeling and swimming around Prison Island.
An unforgettable full day excursion on board a traditional Arab dhow. The dhow leaves from Fumba and explore menai bay, a beautiful conservation area, cobalt blue water and past the inhabited island and sandbanks. Zanzibar is well known as Spices Island; the history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without the cloves, nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, garlic and many other spices which brought the sultans of Oman and beginning of infamous slave trade. We will visit all spices and taste them together with seasonal fruits. A description is given about a varieties of spices, organically, herbs and then traditional in cooking and medicine cosmetics. You will be fascinated by sheer number of the spices produced and their incredibly value for many ailment.
The Jozani natural Forest is located in the central East region of Zanzibar Island is home to the rare Red Colobus Monkeys, which is endemic species to Zanzibar. These Monkeys are full of character, and quarters just outside the reserve, perimeters and are incredibly photogenic. Jozani is to other species including Sykes, monkeys, small buck and bush pig.
Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of Dolphins which can often be sighted following a boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quit close to Dolphins which can be very rewarding experience.
Mnemba Island is about 3km off Zanzibar’s North East Coast. Encircled by large coral reef. The island is home to luxury lodge and is only available to guests. Many of the sites surrounding the island are colorful and thriving making for fun snorkeling at time of year. Expect to Sell ion fish also you could see Turtles swimming around in the shallows as well as Humpback Dolphins while you are sailing to the Island.

Is special requested day tour, we can organize a village tour after listening your expectation, the main reason is we do have three main options Jambiani-Paje, Nungwi Village and Kizimkazi Village. Kizimkazi is very famous for historical sites. There are old East African Mosque which has much influence with Persians (Shiras) Miza wa Miza Cave and Mkunguni fish market.
been greatly known for seaweeds and fishing, there are some development communities which help different strata’s of people in the village.
Nungwi is mostly known for Dhow making, fishing and aquarium. Nungwi village is the most lively beach spot in Zanzibar. It’s located in the most northern tip of Zanzibar Island. Due to its wonderful location – good diving, perfect sand beach and a possibility to swim even during low tide. Nungwi is the biggest village in Zanzibar, and therefore there are many hotels, restaurants and shops. There are also special acitivities such as the natural aquarium, where the turtles from fisher nets are brought back to heal. From Nungwi you can find anything between the most budget hostels to the most luxurious beach resorts.
This tour can be done into three parts of Zanzibar, - In Stone Town City, Nungwi Village and Michamvi Village. Dhow Sunset Cruises use handcrafted dhow which are operated by professional, trained crew and fully equipped with life jackets, first aid kit, sun shade, boarding ladder and waterproof bags. Each boat comfortably accommodates 16 guests, while one can hold up to 25 guests.
